Our Vision and Mission
Modelemi Agency: We are the Revolution
Established in 2014 by owner and President Tim Bear, Modelemi’s aim is to revolutionize the modeling industry. By providing a safe forum for models and other industry professionals to network, Modelemi has helped models at every level succeed. As we started developing our talent we realized that a lot of our models have ambitions towards a career in the film, theater and the music industry. And so our transition to full model and talent agency began in 2018.
The agency staff is comprised of talented people who are dedicated and committed to share the same collective vision; to offer a place where women, men, and children can aspire to model even if they do not fit “fashion industry norm”.
What Sets Us Apart?
There are many things that set us apart from other modeling and talent agencies. First, and foremost is our utmost desire to revolutionize the fashion industry by including amazingly exquisite people that might not always fit that industry norm for height and weight. With our agency, you do not have to meet a certain height /weight requirement to be considered.
We are a legitimate agency that does not ask any of our talent for money up front. If we feel a person has potential, we offer a free test shoot. Our second passion is pursuing our work for great causes through our fashion shows. We work with all kinds of beautiful individuals to help them see beyond what is on the outside.
As an agency, we utilize our photography to show, encourage and promote our models to look beyond what they see on the outside and instead find it within themselves to see their inner beauty.
The Causes We’ve Supported
In July 2016, we had the honor of putting on a fundraising fashion show for one of our own models, Kiara Marshall. When she was 10, she lost her leg as a victim of drunk driving. We were able to support her cause, MADD (Mother’s Against Drunk Driving) by raising funds and awareness within the community.
The support and encouragement really helped boost Kiara’s morale and confidence in becoming a model. Kiara not only walked the runway at the show but she was able to speak out about her experience. This has led her to get involved in public speaking as an events spokesperson.
In February of 2018 we were proud to present our 65 Roses Fashion Show. This event was very dear to us as it was in honor of one of our own models, Whitney Lane Carson, whom we lost in February 2017 to Cystic Fibrosis.
Whitney’s mother spoke on her behalf and one of Whitney’s good friends, Megan, who also suffers from CF walked in her honor.
The show was held in Austin, Texas on February 3, 2018 and was a sold out show. We were able to raise awareness for CF and make a sizable donation to the foundation.
In July of 2018 we had the pleasure of presenting our Scars and Stripes Fashion Show. This event was also near and dear to us as the owner / CEO Tim Bear is himself a veteran. Our co-host was Scars and Stripes Apparel LLC. The owner Jan Ohrstrom is also a veteran and his company donates a portion of his clothing line to veterans associations.
Our show donated the proceeds to Operation Phantom Support. A local non-profit organization that offers many programs to veterans and active duty military families.
